  • 2/3 of a cup of baking stevia
  • 1/3 of a cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 tin of black beans or chick peas – drained and rinsed
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (can substitute with coconut oil for dairy free)
  • 1 teaspoon of mint extract
  • 6 mint-flavoured hard candies – crushed up


  1. Preheat your oven to 180degrees celsius
  2. Place all ingredients except for the candies in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth
  3. Stir in half of the crushed up candies
  4. Pour the mixture into a small loaf tin and smooth so it is even
  5. Sprinkle on the remainder of the mint candies
  6. Place in the pre-heated oven and cook for 10-15 mins (they don't take long so if you like them extra gooey take them out at the 10min mark)
  7. Allow to cool and then cut into 10 even squares
  8. Enjoy!
